CONCEPT:
The Hidden Self (Ego)
“There is a city with eleven gates
Of which the ruler is the unborn Self,
Whose light forever shines. They go beyond sorrow who meditate on the Self and are freed from the cycle of birth and death.
For this Self is supreme!”
They call me, SUNDAY.
SUNDAY is what I use as my divine name. ‘S’ from sacred(bred). ‘B’ from (sacred)bred for ‘BORN’.
B = Be or Born: to exist. To be born is to bring into existence mentally and physically.
4+5=9
9 is symbolic of ‘born’.
(9) Born is the completion of all in existence, which is to manifest from Knowledge to Born, the law of mathematics—to be complete in itself.
The quote I used in the first photo, comes from The Upanishads (*which is full of ancient but practical wisdom to be meditated upon as it is less about dogma, but what each individual human can apply to themselves). I found the quote to be helpful as my birthday approached and how I wanted to utilize my coming ‘New Year’, as both being and creative. Constantly overthinking or imposter syndrome, are always barriers to my progress as a creative and as I navigate life. Both go hand in hand for me. There is no separation. But creating is what I want to do for the rest of my life and it is what I believe I was ‘BORN’ to do.
I also interpret Born as ‘being’ and ‘doing’…both simultaneously…or as ‘actualizing’. I’m always stuck in my mind which ultimately creates doubt (*which I get honestly from my last name, Thomas {the disciple who doubted Jesus’ resurrection}). Yet, doubt I think, is part of the creative process for me. It keeps me honest. It only becomes a problem when it prevents progress though. And so the goal is to move beyond the wall of stagnation and doubting…and move towards constantly ‘being born’, manifesting my CREATION.
